Imperfections of the Woltje house– This one’s for Heather… :)

Noah and Kaden 124

I have to agree with Heather (VanHorn), fabulous mother of adorable twin girls– no family is perfect. Everybody has quirks, weaknesses, faults, and imperfections. In short, everyone is human. Here’s a little humanity… Woltje style. :)

**It took something like six months to potty-train Noah, and we ended up bribing him with a new football, a Chiefs jersey, and a kicking tee to get the job done!

**Today, Bridget scaled the front of her dresser to climb on top of Mariah’s top bunk!

**Mariah regularly tattles of people for an offense she has just committed, herself. :)

**Noah once pushed Kaden off the top bunk of their beds because Kaden wasn’t ’supposed’ to be up there… poor Kaden’s entire back was a rainbow of colors for a month!

**I have been known to use Veggietales as a baby-sitter… frequently. :D

**Common phrases heard at our house include… “Mom, he won’t play with me!” “Mommy, I don’t wanna sit by him!” “Mooo-om, I gotta go to the bathroom and she won’t let me in!!!”

**Occasionally, fruit snacks are an acceptable breakfast and ice cream is an acceptable supper.

**Last summer, Kaden streaked outside after a bath, whilst Dad and Mom were gone and Grandma was in charge… the neighbor across the street ordered him back indoors! :)

**Other common phrases… “Stop fussing with each other, please.” “I said to stop fussing” “If you don’t stop fussing, you can go to your room.” “Okay, enough fussing– I’m setting the timer and you can’t talk for 10 minutes! My ears hurt!!”

Regular occurrences… skinned-knees, runny noses, whining, tattling, crying, running in the house, chasing around the house, mis-matched clothing, stained clothing, missing clothing, lost clothing! Messy hair, sticky hands, sticky faces– sticky walls! Hugs, kisses, cuddles, snuggles….. :)
